It’s proven: Walking is good for you

A new study touts the benefit of walking for long term health. The study was admittedly done on elderly people, but we can certainly benefit from the results. Young, middle age and “seniors” all need to get out and move.

Rust never sleeps. Move it or lose it. To quote my dad: get off your butt and exercise!

What better way to work out your whole body than Nordic Walking? OK, swimming and the rowing machine are also great complementary routines. Cross Train. Nordic Walk for a few days, then take a good swim.

Freestyle or the breast strokes are my favorites. Take a water aerobics class or just get in water over your head and tread. Crawl from one end of the pool to the other.  You will be surprised to find you can sweat while in the water!  This is good.

Now Nordic Walk.  This is what I’m  talking about.
